Job Opportunity – Real Estate Agent

AARON JOSEPH is a full-service real estate brokerage and auction company.  As such, we represent both sellers and buyers in real estate transactions and conduct both real estate and personal property auctions.  We have a special focus on those sellers wanting to down-size, marital estates, and descent estates.  We are currently members of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors®.

We are looking for a qualified Real Estate Agent who will be responsible for representing buyers and sellers for our real estate business. You will be tasked with growing our customer base by generating leads, counseling clients on market conditions, and developing comparative market analyses to accurately price properties. As a Real Estate Agent, you must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

A state license is required to be considered for this position. To be successful in this role, you will need to be in good standing with the local Realtor® board and have good experience with sales.

Real Estate Agent Responsibilities

  • Generate client leads to buy and sell property.
  • Counsel clients on market conditions, prices, and mortgages.
  • Develop a competitive market price by comparing properties.
  • Enter real estate sale properties into the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS), with detailed information such as location, features, square footage, etc., and photographs
  • Review properties on the market for potential buyers.
  • Show properties to potential buyers.
  • Present purchase offers to sellers.
  • Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers.
  • Review purchase contracts to ensure terms are met.
  • Promote properties with ads, listings, social media posts, and open houses.
  • Prepare listing agreements, sale and purchase contracts, and other documents for each real estate transaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all real estate transactions.
  • Follow up on all details to make sure real estate transactions close.
  • Maintain frequent contact with potential buyers and sellers.
  • Maintain your real estate license and knowledge.
  • Maintain your membership in the local Realtors® association.
  • Maintain your membership in the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
  • Maintain your membership with any lockbox service utilized by the local MLS

 Real Estate Agent Requirements

  • Must be a licensed real estate agent.
  • Must be in good standing with the local Realtor board, or an inactive agent who can immediately move his/her license.
  • Experience with sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of the local property.
  • Possess a valid driver license.
  • Must maintain appropriate transportation.
  • Must maintain adequate liability coverage auto insurance that names AARON JOSEPH as additional insured. 

This is a commission sales position.  You will have the ability to earn commission from both the sale of real estate and the sale of personal property.
