At Aaron Joseph, we understand your role as a bankruptcy trustee. Through our Bankruptcy Trustee Services, our goal is to make your job easier. We act as your eyes and ears in the field, helping to identify and verify estate assets.
Valuation Services
We have the knowledge and expertise to provide Personal Property Appraisals in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), for many different asset classes. We are willing to defend our appraisals in court, and are available to act as an expert witness. If requested, we can provide a broker price opinion (BPO), but not an appraisal, for real estate, through our Real Estate Brokerage.
Asset Recovery Services
We work with you in the asset recovery process. We help you secure and store assets, and with our state of the art inventory system, we barcode and catalog those assets, so that everything is accounted for, every step of the way.
Liquidation Services
Through our Auction Services, we market items to be liquidated, focusing on achieving the best results for creditors. Each sale is different. We don’t believe that one solution fits every case. In addition to general advertising, we identify likely purchasers for the assets, and directly market to them. For cases that would benefit from assets being sold in place, we have the experience, equipment, and expertise to bring exceptional results. These cases include those where maximum revenue would be generated by not incurring the expense of dismantling and moving equipment, where equipment can be shown operational, where additional moving and storage of inventory would be cost prohibitive, and where the landlord would benefit from a new owner leasing the location or where the real estate is to be sold as well. In many cases, this maximum revenue can be achieved by conducting an auction for each asset individually, then offering the assets to potential buyers as sale of the whole concern, accepting whichever produces the better result.
We are local to Tallahassee, and work extensively throughout north Florida. With that said, our team can handle cases throughout Florida. In addition to Florida we have auctioneers licensed in Georgia and Virginia, and with our network of associates, we can handle sales in most areas of the United States, and around the world.
